Although some of the laws, and what the author calls policy documents, were more in depth than I needed, I enjoyed the book overall and highly recommend it. There are ample footnotes and references that help provide and overall picture of homeland security for the novice. In that regard, I especially appreciate Chapter One, which does an excellent job of introducing the subject.
