When deciding which book to get (the Thieme series or Netters)for gross anatomy I opted to go with the Thieme series. I am so very glad I did!!! Not only are the images clear and accurate (as accurate as illustrations of anatomy can be) but each book has a lot of additional medical information/explanation for whatever is being addressed on the page. Some in my study group opted to go with Netters and it gave me a headache when trying to find things on Netter pictures because (in some cases) they would have a single image with TONS of muscles/bones/structures labeled and it would become a game of find the name and follow the line and hope you don't get crossed somewhere. There was none of that with my Thieme books. Couple Thieme with Rohen and you will have an unbeatable duo that will help you immensely.Again, each image in the Thieme books is very clear and well labeled. The additional written information along with the images really helped my learning. They may be a little more expensive by in my opinion it is worth it because you get a lot more than just pictures when you buy these books.
