This product is worth its price tenfold. I had debated taking the classes rather than trying to test out of CTEL but I am SO glad that I didn't. I saved thousands of dollars (not even to mention the gas money on top of it all) and hours of precious time. Who has time for classes when most of us are teaching full-time already?

I'm also quite the procrastinator and didn't start studying until about a week before. I had purchased the multicultural book that someone else had mentioned here but that ended up being a waste of money as I barely looked at it for more than 20 minutes. The cards, really, are all that you need. The information is straight and to the point. I highlighted the important information and wrote notes directly on the cards and it worked great. People had said how difficult this test was, but if you have any teaching experience it really seemed more common sense than anything else. I left feeling very confident that I had passed all three sections, especially because the cards ACTUALLY PREPARE YOU FOR WHAT IS ON THE TEST (unlike many other test preps out there).

Also, the night before the test I discovered there were review questions on Quizlet.com (if you don't know about this site already for your students it = awesome). A lot of the CTEL review questions were from classes that people had taken and I'm assuming needed to study for mini-tests. It really helped to cement the information as it was a change simply using the paper flashcards and fill in any little holes I may have had.
