Modeling, Analysis and Optimization of Process and Energy Systems

Product Description
Energy costs impact the profitability of virtually all industrial processes. Stressing how plants use power, and how that power is actually generated, this book provides a clear and simple way to understand the energy usage in various processes, as well as methods for optimizing these processes using practical hands-on simulations and a unique approach that details solved problems utilizing actual plant data. Invaluable information offers a complete energy-saving approach essential for both the chemical and mechanical engineering curricula, as well as for practicing engineers.Modeling, Analysis and Optimization of Process and Energy Systems Review
This is a really good book with lot of examples solved numerically as well as using Excel-VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code. It has a detailed explanation of each and every problem. I know lot of undergraduate/graduate students like to learn through solved examples, but I have read a lot of books that have a detailed explanation of all the concepts but very little focus on examples and coding. However, this book is completely different, it not only has all the concepts very well explained but there are a lot (really a LOT!) of examples. This explains partly why this book has around 450 pages. I would really suggest this book to every student who wants to learn how to model and optimize the process control plants/ energy systems. What else does a student want more than learning through examples.:)Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Modeling, Analysis and Optimization of Process and Energy Systems" are high quality item. You can read each testimony from consumers to find out cons and pros from Modeling, Analysis and Optimization of Process and Energy Systems ...
