Introduction to Marine Engineering, Revised 2nd Edition Review
This book on ship design and engineering is an outstanding work! I was visiting a friend of mine who is a retired designer, having worked in Gibbs & Cox (one of America's most respected naval architect and engineering firms)for many years, and came across this book in his personal library. BLEW MY MIND! This is practically THE bible of marine engineering--it covers all ships' systems, from propulsion, to powerplant, to electrical systems, you name it! Illustrations and diagrams supplement the text. I was so taken aback I have added this book to my wishlist and will indeed purchase it in due time!
